We offer cost-effective Cargo Consolidation services to help you reduce road transportation expenses by consolidating multiple small shipments into one truckload so you can benefit from bulk rates.  This service is ideal for multi-stop truckload shipments that are picked up in a consolidation warehouse or distribution center are combined and forwarded, remaining in the same truck.

No task is too complicated for our team. We handle your oversize cargo with care. With this option we can help you with the rules on oversized and heavy freight cargo transportation according to the country of which the cargo is carried.

This type of service includes non-standard large and heavy pieces of cargo, such as electric transformers, reactor vessels, wind turbines, airplane fuselage or nuclear power plant components, which are usually part of advanced infrastructural high priority energy and technology projects.

We ensure compliance with regulations for transporting oversized and heavy freight cargo from both the USA and Mexico

The main key parts in every Road Freight operation are:

  1. Export Haulage: The First Step in Your Global Journey. It’s when goods are transported from their original location to their designated terminal.
  2. Customs Clearance : Also known as import clearance. This is when the goods arrive at the border and have to undergo a security inspection that customs agents conduct to authorize their entry to the country.
  3. Handling at the Origin: This step refers to the warehousing services and storing of the goods before being handed out.
  4. Scheduling: Ensuring on-time deliveries through meticulous planning.
  5. Handling at the Destination: This is the unloading of the goods from the trucks upon reaching their destination terminal so that they can now be moved to the warehouse.
  6. Import Haulage: The final step involves now transporting the goods from the terminal to the consumer, completing the road freight process.

There are different types of transportation vehicles commonly used for Road Freight services; they are selected usually depending on the type of goods that are being transported, the distance where they will be delivered and the specific business needs and budget.

Some of the most common ones are:

  • Rigid trucks: Ample trucks where the driver’s cab is attached to the transport part of the trailer, meaning they can’t be separated. They’re also known as “one piece” trucks.
  • Articulated trucks: These are the trucks that are divided into two parts, separating the driver’s cab from the cargo part where the goods are being transported.
  • Open platform trucks: These types of trucks carry goods fully or partially uncovered. They are commonly used for transporting construction materials, for example.
  • Closed container trucks: These trucks only have one rear opening for loading merchandise.
  • Tarpaulin trucks (tautliner): Have their sides and roof covered by tarpaulins that can be conveniently removed or put back on.
  • Tanker trucks: As the name implies, they have a tank instead of a box or cargo container. They are used for transporting liquids, gas, or chemicals.
  • Hopper or tipper trucks: These trucks can tilt the trailer cargo part to tip the goods over.
  • Refrigerated trucks: For special or perishable cargo to be kept refrigerated.
  • Car carriers: Specifically designed to move motorized vehicles, cars and motorcycles and can be open or closed. You probably have seen them crying vehicles to the dealerships, for example.
  • Cage trucks: They have openings on the sides to allow air circulation to be able to transport animals and livestock.
  • Flatbed trucks: These trucks have a  load base  floor with removable side rails and are used for special oversized heavy or bulky cargo.
  • Box trucks: These are usually smaller rigid and straight trucks used for average transport of goods.

Some common goods transported by road are:

  • Perishable Goods: goods that life expires or that are affected but outside conditions such as temperature.
  • Bulk Goods: Liquid substances such as crude oil or it also refers to granulated substances like grains and gravel
  • High-Value Goods: Valuable shipments like electronics, branded beauty products and pharmaceuticals.
  • Hazardous Goods: Hazardous materials and dangerous goods that need special precautions and handling
  • Standard Goods: General cargo that does not require special handling
  • Oversized Goods: Large and difficult-to-transport goods or too bulky and heavy, like machinery.
  • Refrigerated Goods: Goods that need the temperature to be controlled for them to arrive in good condition.
